How this usually starts
It starts with a conversation.
We’ll talk about what has you considering coaching, what you’d like from the conversation, and see what emerges from there.
There’s no commitment to continue. If working together seems useful, we can talk about what that might look like.
What actually happens
Working together can be a single conversation or a series of conversations over time.
Each conversation starts with what you want to work through that day. It might connect to something we’ve discussed before, or something entirely different may have come up.
There’s no fixed agenda you need to follow. We work with what matters to you at the time.
What’s different
I’m not working toward a predetermined outcome for you. I’ll bring questions, observations and challenge when useful, but not a prescription for what you should do.
What you may notice
Sometimes the situation becomes clearer simply because you’ve had the space to work through it.
You may see a decision differently, recognize something you hadn’t noticed, or get a better sense of what matters and what you want to do next.
Not every conversation needs to produce an answer. Sometimes leaving with a better question or a different way of seeing the situation is useful enough.
"James provides a non-judgmental space and asks insightful questions that help me explore beyond my current perspective. I leave each session feeling clearer, with something meaningful to reflect on and a tangible action to take forward."
